Ferrari Themed Theme Park

On Yas Island later this year an indoor theme park will be opened with rides based on Ferrari Cars. One Ride said to go up to 125 mph, which is meant to give you the feeling of racing an actual ferrari. The other ferrari ride in progress has two little coaster ferrari cars go at the same time racing each other. Sounds fun..I know but I'm not quite sure if its in the United States (too lazy to do more research)..

Ads That Watch You

In advertising you usually look at the ads, but soon they'll be looking at you. A billboard see's you, scans your face, then pulls up an ad you'll like. It determines your age, your sex, and how interested you are which is then recorded to the company. The age thing is accurate to within 10 years of your age. The next version they are producing will be more accurate. It's by the company NEC and so far it has only been physically show and tested in Japan. Signs warn that you will be on camera and images are not saved to the Data base. People say within two to three years ten percent of digital signage will be like this. It should become local around this Spring..or in a few weeks or something...but who really knows.

Wizard of Oz: Next Big Film Franchise?

With the "Harry Potter' franchise winding down, Warner Brothers has set their sights on building another franchise geared toward young adults based on one of the most popular films of all time, "The Wizard of Oz." Warner Brothers has had two separate projects in development over the past year centered around a wide-eyed Dorothy Gale from a magical land full of eccentric creatures called Oz. The box-office take of "Alice in Wonderland" got $133 million domestically, and counting makes this project seem even more attractive.
Warner Brothers' New Line division has a version of the film written by Darren Lemke - Who helped write "Shrek Forever After" and produced by "Twilight" producer Temple Hill.

This version would not have any musical numbers and would be more faithful to "Oz" author L. Frank Baum's source material. "Oz" is tempting for Warner Brothers for quite a few reasons. First and foremost, it could possibly fill the void left when the "Harry Potter" franchise ends. "Potter," of course, attracted an audience that skewed to younger adult crowd; the same demographic "Oz" would target.

Third Batman?

Christopher Nolan recently announces his plans of relaunching Superman and his intentions to make a third and final Batman film. Nolan admits in the interview that the idea for his take on Superman came about when he was stuck while working on the story for the next Batman movie. In writers block, David Goyer, who crafted the stories of the previous two films with Nolan, made an off-hand proposal of what they could do with a Superman movie.
"He basically told me, 'I have this thought about how you would approach Superman.'" Nolan said. ""I immediately got it, loved it and thought: That is a way of approaching the story I've never seen before that makes it incredibly exciting."

Corey Haim Dies

Actor Corey Haim died at 2:15 on Wednesday(this) morning at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, California. The Los Angeles Police Department said they received a call from the hospital before 4am stating the actor's death. He was transported from the home he had shared with his mother, Judy, in Toluca Hills, California to the hospital. LA County Coroner's Office Assistant Chief told reporters that Haim's mother had called paramedics when her son collapsed in the early morning.
"This morning at about 1:30...Corey Haim's mom found him. He got up out of bed and had been feeling ill for the last couple of days. As he got out of bed, he felt a little weak and went down to the floor on his knees. He's had flu-like symptoms. She called paramedics. They responded and transported him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:15 this morning," the chief said. Authorities found four prescription drug bottles inside the apartment he shared with his mother, but no illegal drugs, according to Winter.
You may remember Cory Haim from film works such as "Firstborn" from 1984 where he starred with Teri Garr, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Robert Downey Jr. Also in 1987 the actor reached the peak of his career in the Joel Schumacher's "Lost Boys," where he hunted vampires with his friend and frequent co-star Corey Feldman.
Lets hope he rests in Peace

Would you Eat your Pet?

I wouldn't.
A news person in China from CNN was going around china checkin' out the Dog and Cat meat market, not so common here is it? So there's an article and video on CNN.com that shows restaurants casually cooking dog and cat meat and adding it to soups and such. Also they go to a meat market where they sell dog legs for 6 bucks each, and where there are cages of dogs and cats crowded meowing and barking..but the thing is, there just sitting there waiting to be eaten..not to be loved.
