Atoms For Peace

Radiohead's main man, Thom Yorke, revealed the name of his new band..Atoms For Peace, and announced a series of U.S. tour dates. The British alternative rock singer first introduced this band late last year. Who will be in it you may ask? Well..this makes it just 5840035840308 times better. It features Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (he went to school with my dad), drummy Joey Waronker of R.E.M. Mauro Refosco of Forro in the Dark, and Radiohead produver Nigel Godrich. But when the band officially debuted in Los Angeled last October, it had no name. Atoms for Peace is a track on Yorke's 2006 solo album, The Eraser. The musician said the band would play eight dates starting in New York on APril 5th before hitting the three-day Coachella musical festival in Indio, California on April 18. Radiohead recently took a break from recording BUT performed a Haiti relief fund-raising concert in Los Angeles.

Johnny Depp Speaks out for Prisoners

If you're one of those super duper obsessed fans of Johnny Depp to the point where I myself actually want to kill you..than you might be somewhat interested in this new news.
Out of all the articles and such on Yahoo and on my itunes podcasts I couldn't find anything that interested me but this. Soo...you know those three kids who were convicted of the gruesome May 1993 killing of three West Memphis, Arkansas, children? Well Johnny Depp is trying to defend the death sentences of one of them and attempting to free the others supposedly. So the main story is that Johnny Depp is raising awareness of an attempt to secure a new trial for these three inmates, who he feels has been wrongly convicted. Depp will be appearing on "48 Hours Mystery" this saturday to make his case. I'd watch it. And if that show or this topic interests you, you should go to Blockbuster..oh wait, never mind BlockBuster sucks and shut down some locations..well go to netflix or some place and get the movie/documentary called "Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hills". If you must know how committed Johnny Depp is to this subject..he took time off promoting his new coming to theaters movie "Alice in Wonderland" to film his episode thing of "48 Hours Mystery".

Music ;D

Since most of the podcasts I am subscribed to on iTunes are about tech stuff; and I don't really enjoy writing about that I just decided to write about a cool music website I am on more than five times a day.
I'm pretty sure everyone knows about it already; www.playlist.com. I have around 5 playlists on my account all consisting of around 200 songs. The maximum amount of songs you can have per playlist is 200, but you can have an unlimited amount of playlists. Mostly every song you search on it should have a match but there are some that don't..sadly. If you wanna check my favorite playlist out that I made its www.playlist.com/playlist/19142930443. So just make a playlist, get your favorite songs, and its also FREE unlike iTunes..but you can't have it in your pocket while running or while your 'listening' to the teacher in your class.

Alexander McQueen: Untold

The information about to be revealed about Alexander McQueen was not known at the time of my other blog revealing is death.........
Authorities recently found out that Alexander McQueen left a note, then hanged himself in his London home on the eve of his mothers funeral. They have yet to formally deliver a ruling of suicide, but police say there are no suspicious circumstances. Several days before he died, McQueen had left several messages on Twitter revealing his grief of his mothers recent death. After a five minute hearing, they adjourned the inquest until April 28. Complete details of the autopsy will also be available in a few months. Alexanders family told the media to respect their "grievous double loss". Alexander McQueen had been named British Designer of the Year four times and awarded the title of CBE: Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II.

Jay-Z's Thoughts..

You know that new remake of "We Are the World" by all those pretty amazing artists who worked together to help support Haiti? ...Well, Jay-Z seems to think unlikely of it. He says "I know everybody is gonna take this wrong: 'We Are the World,' I love it, and I understand the point and think it's great. But I think 'We Are the World' is like Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' to me. I don't ever want to see it touched." Critics have agree'd to this and say that "The updated take was horribly oversung... save for the 21st-century rap verses added toward the end of the track." Jay-Z continued his statement by saying "I'm a fan of music. I know the plight and everything that's going on in Haiti. I applaud the efforts. Millions have been raised through text donations to Haiti. So I appreciate the efforts and everything, but 'We Are the World' is (musically) untouchable like 'Thriller' is untouchable. Some things are just untouchable. It was a valiant effort, but for me, it's gonna be untouchable."

Personally, I have never heard this songs original version even have I ever heard about this songs existence. So from what I know...I like this new version better...even thought Jay-Z is making a very very good point.

Alexander McQueen Died At 40

Alexander McQueen was found dead in his London home on Thursday. He was 40 years old. This happened moments after internet postings that revealed his sadness for the death of his mother. Many people think that it was most likely suicide, but there are no official thingies yet. British police did say the death the was not suspicious meaning that it could have not been murder. So sad ;(

He was very edgy and different. Here are some of his designs
