First 'Wolf' Moon of 2010

Tonight will be the biggest, brightest full moon of the year. Any place with clear skies should be able to see features on the moon that they never before realized were there. Tonight the moon will be fourteen percent wider and thirty percent brighter than other full moons during the year. Also, Mars will be next to the moon tonight...so try to find a red star kinda like shape thingy. Future Picasso

A little artistic boy in Britain was found recently who's talents are almost as good as Pablo Picasso's paintings. If you go on Yahoo.com it is on one of the top 24 stories. For a boy of his age he is a GREAT artist. Im jealous of him -.- Okay, so go and look at his stuff. He is a little boy who loves football and art, right now he wants to be an artist when he grows up but his parents are trying to keep this on the down low because they don't know if his ideas on what he's going to be when he's grown up might change. So...yeah

Picasso News

Just recently, while at the Metropolitan Museum in New York a lady who was in an art class accidently bumped into one of Picasso's paintings from his Rose Period. The outcome turned into a six inch vertical tear BUT it can be repaired completely to look as good as new because the focal point of the painting was not damaged. Authorities or whoever don't understand how or what made her lose balance. This piece of art was donated to the museum in 1952 from the automobile heiress Thelma Chrysler Foy. The painting "The Actor" contains an acrobat in a dramatic pose against an abstract backdrop.

Lexus's New Sports Car

Lexus's new 350,000 dollar car takes more than money to own. The new Lexus LFA comes with its own little application to fill out. The car that was recently shown in the Detroit Auto Show this week is beyond complicated. In order to own it you will need to fill out an application indicating where you live, what other cars you own, how often and where you drive. Potential Buyers must apply through an authorized Lexus Distributor. The delivers start in early 2011 and only 20 of this hand-built car will be produced each month.(THROUGHOUT THE WORLD) If you think 20 cars...is nothing, and the maximum quantity will still be only 500. Production starts in December at the Toyota Plant in Japan and buyers may customize their cars with the colors, wheel designs, etc. On road this car can go from 0 to 60mph within 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 202mph.

Ghostbusters..

News of a future 'Ghostbusters 3' coming in production in 2010. Lets keep our fingers crossed that they don't ruin the movie like they do most of the time when they make 'too many' sequels. No news if Bill Murray will be playing the lead ghost hunter; Probably same with fellow co-star Dan Aykroyd.

Gift Cards

Now there are solutions to unused or forgot about gift cards. This should be especially useful now that the holidays are over and for the people who got a lot of gift cards for christmas or Chanukah(like me), there are ways to make it more useful than it already is. For example, if you are a fan of Hot Topic and your grandma from Florida got you a gift card to American Eagle just go to sites like PlasticJungle.com and sell your card for ninety percent cash. Personally, I am not sure if you can trust this site because I have no experience with it...but its probably worth a try if you really don't want anything from the store you have a gift card too. Or you could just go to school and sell it. For example, lets say you have a twenty-five dollar gift card to Hollister but you only shop at Forever 21; take the card to school, show it to some girls, and sell it for at least 10 dollars and at most 25 dollars. You should go for fifteen or twenty bucks though. So yeah c;

Haiti in Danger

Haiti recently suffered a massive earthquake; after losing 100,000 people or more they are in need of some legit help. Menchies is donating money to Haiti if you buy a yogurt or whatever else they sell this friday January 15, also if you can they are accepted clothes and canned goods. There are many other companies/funds that are trying as hard as they can to help with this disaster. Last night on the news they said, "Make sure the foundation your donating money too already has people in that specific country helping out; Many people have been jipped by sending money to a non-authorized organization." Basically means try your best to be careful..maybe get some research done about that certain "foundation" and get your facts straight.

Conan O'Brien Says He Will Not Move..

Conan O'Brien announced today that he will NOT be hosting the "Tonight Show" if it moves to 12:05am; Playing after the "Jay Leno Show" starting at 11:05pm because it will no longer be 'tonight'. Personally to me it would be more like the "Super Early Morning Show". As of this news no one outside of the NBC company really knows what will happen next. Conan says, ""I currently have no other offer and honestly have no idea what happens next." So I guess we can just wait...

Avatar-Racism?

The new movie "Avatar" is being criticized by a small group of people who allege it contains racist themes. The film's write and director, James Cameron, says the real theme is about respecting others' differences. In the film, humans find a recently discovered the planet Pandora which contains unobtanium underneath the 9-foot tall blue Na'vi home. The substance is worth 20 million dollars per kilo back at Earth. Even though the movie Pocohantus has basically the exact same base story (white-americans against indians; One person from each race falls in love with each other), Avatar is still predicted racist by at the end of the movie when a human villain says , "How does it feel to betray your own race?" to the white hero who has chosen to stay a nine foot tall, blue skinned alien.
